About Wombat Books

Wombat Books is a small publisher creating quality books to respect life, in all its forms. We publish books with new and established authors. We have a particular interest in Australian books, but have a range of titles coming out. Please check our current list to know more about what we have.

Wombat Books will consider new publications through a traditional process from predominantly Australian authors. If you wish to be an author with Wombat Books please feel free to send your manuscript for review and consideration. If successful you may be offered a contract for publication in which author royalties will be paid.

We do have a number of manuscripts come in for consideration and not all receive publication. There are some categories we will not consider, see our submission information for more details.

Wombat Books believes in promoting new Australian authors and has a passion for authors getting a chance to see their work in print. We publish anthologies especially for this reason. Please support Australian authors by purchasing their books. All of our titles are available at many bookstores and through BuyAustralianBooks.com.au

Wombat Books also manages the imprint, Even Before Publishing, which publishes Christian books for the Christian market. If your work is Christian and designed to be sold to the Christian market please check out our imprint. We also publish parenting books through Mostly for Mothers.
